The Actiris350 multipurpose coordinate measurement machine employs vision technology and digital image processing to check the dimensional and geometric accuracy of everything from small items to large sheet-metal parts in the automotive and aerospace industries. It requires neither wires nor mechanical links between its lightweight probe and measurement device. It can serve both on and off the production line.
The Actiris350 offers the user freedom of movement and allows for both automatic and manual alignment setup. Additional features include automatic calibration. The system can be set up and ready for use in less than 30 min.
The Actiris350 system comes with an optical head, a lightweight ergonomic probe, a tripod, and a wheeled transportation case. The complete system weighs 37.5 lbs and is available with a software package that offers functions including CAD file importation and customized part inspection.
