IC heat tester
Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 9/1/2004
The Thermo-Probe lets you perform heat tests on integrated circuits on the engineering bench or production line, without requiring an oven or heat chamber. Within seconds, the instrument can raise a DUT's temperature from ambient to 160°C; it employs a solid-state controller to keep temperature accuracy to within ±1°C. An analog output lets it interface with other instrumentation.
