Software drivers for CAN

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 10/1/2004

Engineers who need a small data-acquisition system for in-vehicle testing can take advantage of new driver software from National Instruments that delivers controller area network (CAN) technology to handheld PDAs. By using NI's new CAN for PocketPC software with the LabView PDA Module, engineers can create CAN applications and download them to PocketPC targets. Engineers can also use the software for diagnostic applications, to create tools for service technicians, and to communicate using the NI PCMCIA-CAN card. The CAN for PocketPC driver software is available as a free download on the NI Web site. National Instruments, Austin, TX. www.ni.com.
