RoHS-compliant DC/DC converters

The PSS Series DC/DC converters comply with RoHS (the emerging European directive on "Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances") as well as UL60950-1, CSA 60950-1, and EN60950-1 standards. The series includes 48 models, with power ratings of 1.5, 3, 6, and 10 W; each power rating can be supplied with 5-, 12-, 24-, and 48-V nominal input voltages and with 3.3-, 5-, or 12-V outputs.
The series' four package sizes measure from 0.79x0.63x0.31 in. (1.5-W models) to 1.61x1.02x0.31 in. (10-W models). A ventilated case gives the series a low weight—just 4 gm for the 1.5-W models and 14 gm for the 10-W units. They operate from –40°C to +85°C full load with an airflow of 1 m/s. Input to output isolation is 500 VAC.
