PDA-based data-acquisition modules

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 10/1/2004

Attached to a Palm handheld computer, the Datastick DAS-1254 and DAS-1294 data acquisition modules supply four and eight analog input channels, respectively, each with 12-bit resolution. You can attach an analog sensor to the Datastick hardware module to create a portable instrumentation system. Upgraded Datastick Connection V3.5 software displays sensor data in real time at user-defined display rates and in one of four viewing modes: numeric, bar graph, gauge, or strip chart. Prices start at $495 for the DAS-1254 with free Datastick Connection Lite software and a 20-pin connector. Prices start at $595 for the DAS-1294, while Datastick Connection V3.5 starts at $195.
