Catman, a software package for the acquisition and visualization of measurement data, now includes a transducer database that allows users to select the transducer type from a list. The software automatically configures the amplifier to reduce the setup time of measurement applications. Catman Version 5.0's database includes all HBM's standard transducers and accommodates the addition of T-ID or TEDS-compliant transducers. New features also include event monitoring, additional test parameters, and TestExplorer, which provides a fast survey of measured data. HBM, Marlborough, MA; www.hbm.com.
