Telemetry modules will monitor missle

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 11/1/2004

M/A-COM (Lowell, MA) reports that it has signed an initial development contract with Raytheon Missiles Systems to develop tactical telemetry modules (TTMs) for the XM982 "Excalibur" projectile program. M/A-COM's TTM is an integrated module that includes signal conditioning, data encoding, a high-efficiency S-band transmitter, and power-control functions.

The TTM will monitor onboard sensors and systems during the projectile's flight and will be used throughout the life cycle of the projectile. www.macom.com.
