Solar simulation lab

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 11/1/2004

Atlas Weathering Services Group now offers solar simulation testing of large components. Its Atlas SC2000 climatic chamber uses a metal halide light source to generate the energy of simulated global radiation. A 3400-liter test chamber can accommodate products in a range of sizes, including components with large surface areas such as airbag units or instrument panels.
