SATA/SAS analysis probe

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 11/1/2004

The N4219B protocol analysis probe lets you view full-speed serial ATA (SATA) and serial attached SCSI (SAS) traffic on an Agilent logic analyzer. Built-in packet recognizers provide powerful triggering without consuming logic analyzer resources. The probe performs protocol decoding of both SATA-1 and SATA-2 links at full speed, and it supports spread spectrum clocking and out-of-band signaling. The N4219B works with the 16900 Series modular logic analysis systems and 1680/90 Series standalone analyzers. Base price: $20,000. Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara, CA; www.agilent.com.
