Free boundary-scan demonstration
Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 2/1/2005
XJTAG is now offering a free board test service as a way to demonstrate the features of its boundary-scan development system. The company announced the service during Autosport International, held January 13–16 in Birmingham, UK.
The XJTAG development system provides an integrated environment that migrates through the product life cycle. It facilitates test development, design validation of CAD netlists, generation of functional tests, and test re-use across circuits that use the same devices. The company says the system tests both JTAG and non-JTAG devices.
Simon Payne, CEO of XJTAG, explained that the free service will enable the company "to demonstrate, on a bona fide development board, how, by using the JTAG chain and writing and then reusing test scripts, printed circuits can be tested and debugged in hours or days as opposed to weeks with other competitive systems." The free service is limited to one board per company. www.xjtag.com.
