RF simulator

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 2/1/2005

A new version of AR Worldwide's CWS500D compact simulator expands upon earlier versions that were used for ISO 11452-4, SAE J1113-4, and GMW3097 BCI testing. Now, the CWS500D, which is used in RF conducted immunity tests, can test to the Category R, S, T, W, and Y levels of the DO-160 specification for avionics testing. The CWS500D includes a signal generator, a bidirectional coupler, a power amplifier, a three-channel power meter, a controller, and Windows-based software. The operator simply selects the standard to be tested, and the simulator performs both calibration and testing. The unit's software provides a complete test report, which can be exported to an RTF file or to Excel for editing. AR Worldwide, Souderton, PA. www.arworldwide.com .
