PCI digitizer

The NI PCI-5124, a PCI version of a card originally designed for PXI, features digitizing rates up to 200 Msamples/s on each of two channels with 12-bit resolution. The base unit comes with 8 Mbytes of waveform memory ($5995), with 32 Mbytes ($7495), 256 Mbytes ($10,995), and 512 Mbytes ($12,995) also available. The voltage range covers 200 mV to 20 V with software-selectable input impedances of 50 Ω and 1 MΩ. NI says that the digitizer has applications in military, aerospace, consumer electronics, semiconductor, and medical device test. National Instruments, Austin, TX. www.ni.com.
