CANbus switch matrix

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 2/1/2005

Operating over a frequency range from 20 MHz to 1100 MHz, the 3203 CANbus-based switch matrix offers full fan-out configurations ranging from 8x8 to 16x16. To compensate for system insertion loss, all inputs are outfitted with high-linearity amplifiers. The EWAB version of the system is accessible from anywhere in the world using TCP/IP protocols on 10Base-T Ethernet networks with an HTTP 1.0 interface. Specifications for the 3203 include a VSWR of 2.0:1, gain of 0±2 dB, and a noise figure of less than 16 dB. Impedance is 50Ω. Each unit comes with a Windows-based PC, front-panel touch screen, and redundant power supplies housed in a 3U rack-mount chassis.
