Clock recovery module

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 2/1/2005

Plugged into the Agilent Digital Communications Analyzer (DCA-J), the 83496 clock recovery module provides high-speed waveform analysis with test system synchronization, a continuous operating range from 50 Mbps to 13.5 Gbps, ultra-low residual jitter below 300 femtoseconds RMS, and an adjustable loop bandwidth from 30 kHz to 6 MHz. The module addresses communication test standards that specifically require the use of a clock recovery circuit with a specific loop bandwidth, also called a Golden PLL, for test instrument synchronization.
