The ability to record and play back both DVD-RAM and DVD-R media in MPEG-2 format makes the LQ-MD800 video recorder suitable for a wide range of medical-grade and other professional applications. RS-232 and USB interfaces allow remote control of recording and playback functions, while data encrypted encoding capabilities address digital-intensive applications, such as patient identification. The unit meets UL2601-1 and IEC601 electrical standards for use in medical environments.
