Navy chooses display supplier

L-3 Communications Display Systems has announced that it has been awarded a follow-on contract from the Naval Air Systems Command (NASC) to provide 128 cockpit displays for the CH-46E Sea Knight. The Actiview Model 550 Electronic Flight Indicators (EFIs) will replace the current CH-46E Horizontal Hover Situation Indicators (HHSIs). Features of the plug-and-play EFI include a 5.5-in. AMLCD, a high-brightness backlight, and night-vision-goggle compatibility. www.l-3com.com/displays.
