High-power X-ray target

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 3/1/2005

You can use this high-power transmission target for inspecting objects with low-contrast structures or objects with particularly high absorption structures. The target consists of two layers: an interaction layer made of tungsten and a special backing layer that provides improved heat transfer and lower focal spot temperature. This construction lets you operate the X-ray tube with higher energies at the highest possible resolution to produce increased image contrast.
