Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 4/1/2005

DynoLab PT, a test-cell supervisory system for engine and powertrain dynamometer testing, now sports a CANbus interface to permit intermodule communication. It integrates CAN inputs and outputs from a plethora of calibration tools, electronic modules, and data-acquisition systems. DynoLab PT supports standard 11-bit and extended 29-bit identifiers, a Philips SJA1000 CANbus controller, ISO 11898- and 11519-compliant physical layers, and CANdb++ databases.
