Missile system tested by LabView

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 4/1/2005

Boeing has chosen a LabView- and PXI-based test system for acquisition of vehicle launch environments on ground-based midcourse defense system vehicle flight test programs. The system was provided by Radical Systems, a National Instruments Alliance Partner.

The graphical development software and PXI embedded hardware create a parallel data-acquisition system that maintains data throughput and the required precision. Boeing uses the system to remotely acquire and analyze complex data sets including acoustic, strain, pressure, vibration, temperature, and heat flux inputs of its ground-based missile defense system. www.ni.com.
