Schaffner EMV AG has released a new version of its EMC filters targeting drive technology. The FN 3258 series provides three-phase filtering using solid, touch-safe connection terminals in a slim footprint. Filters are available for 480 VAC and 520 VAC continuous operating voltage ratings. Current handling capability runs from 7 A to 180 A. The filters are intended for EMI suppression of motors with high noise levels and long cables. Schaffner EMV, www.schaffner.com .
