Rotary vibration system

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 4/1/2005

The RVM-2 rotary random and sine vibration machine offers controlled vibration testing for handheld devices, disk drives, sensors, and MEMS. It produces rotary vibration over a frequency range of 6 Hz to 2000 Hz for random and 2 Hz to 6500 Hz for swept sine, delivering high torque with very low cross-axis distortion. The PC-based turnkey system uses a shaker/power amplifier rated at 75 lbf to impart rotary acceleration to a 10-in. diameter rotational test table made of 1-in.-thick magnesium.
