With resolutions of 8k and 12k and with line rates up to 33 kHz and 23 kHz, Dalsa's new Piranha3 cameras target the throughput demands of flat-panel display and electronics manufacturing inspection. Dalsa claims that the 12k resolution surpasses that of other line-scan cameras and that the Piranha3 series' 320-MHz throughput allows users to inspect more material in less time.
