Contained on a single-width C-size module, the V153 VXIbus Slot 0 controller leverages a Pentium 4 embedded processor with 1.7-GHz and 2.2-GHz clocking options. Two on-board Ethernet controllers accommodate 10BaseT, 100BaseTX, and 1000BaseT interfaces. The V153 also sports up to 1 Gbyte of bootable flash memory through a secondary IDE port, up to 1 Gbyte of PC1600 DDR SDRAM, a front-panel USB 2.0 port, and a PMC expansion site. Compatibility with the VXIplug&play Virtual Instruments Systems Architecture (VISA) standard I/O control library allows the module to be controlled via several interfaces with the same I/O function calls.
