SimPowerSystems 4 extends Simulink with tools for modeling and simulating basic electrical circuits and detailed electrical power systems. Version 4 offers extensive new application libraries, including electric drives, flexible AC transmission systems, and distributed resources. These libraries contain more than 150 blocks distributed in eight sub-libraries, such as electric sources, electric machinery, and three-phase components.
