Targeting industrial, medical, mechanical engineering, and robotic applications, the SBC4018 camera board provides the foundation on which to build embedded machine-vision systems. The SBC4018 acquires 32 progressive frames/s at a resolution of 640x480 pixels. What's more, it is powered by a 3200-MIPS, 400-MHz TMS320C64XX processor with 16 Mbytes of SDRAM and 2 Mbytes of flash EPROM. A multitasking operating system makes it possible to run several processes at the same time and allows you to change parameters on-the-fly without stopping the inspection process.
