Helpful for predictive maintenance, the M7800 and M7815 infrared cameras employ an uncooled focal plane array (UFPA) detector that is 320 sensing elements wide by 240 sensing elements tall with a 60-Hz refresh rate. With four times the resolution of a standard 160x120 detector, the two cameras provide superior imaging—free of pixelating—with correspondingly higher resolution in temperature measurement. Each camera provides a measurement range of –20°C to +500°C, on-board storage of 1300 images, and a 3.5-in. articulating LCD. Additionally, the M8700 includes a laser target designator and visual camera for simultaneous visual/IR imaging. Base price: M7815—$11,995; M7800—$18,995.
