USB SSR controller

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 8/1/2005

The USB-SSR24, a USB-based solid-state I/O interface module with screw terminals, monitors and controls up to 24 solid-state relays. The unit accommodates standard-size OAC5/ODC5/IAC5/IDC5 SSR modules and includes a built-in USB expansion port that lets you chain up to five units together without the need for an external USB hub. Its solid aluminum enclosure with latching lid is designed to fit on any benchtop or mount on a DIN rail and protects both electronics and signal wiring. Unlike a PCI-based system, the USB-SSR24 eliminates the need to open a PC chassis. Free TracerDAQ software handles stripchart recording and data logging. Relays are sold separately. Price: $299.
