Viscom's S6056 not only performs automatic optical inspection of printed-circuit boards (PCBs) but also offers the option of parallel inspection to double throughput. For parallel inspection, the system is fitted with a double track and two sensor modules, permitting the simultaneous inspection of two PCBs per transport lane. An integrated shuttle is available for the twin-track, both on the input side as well as the output side, thereby eliminating the need for external switching points for use in single-line production.
