Ascor, a division of Giga-tronics, has introduced a range of RF and microwave upconverters and downconverters that extend the frequency range of the National Instruments PXI 5660 RF analyzer and PXI 5671 digital signal generator from 2.7 GHz to 6 GHz. Three types of converters are available: 4.9- to 6-GHz block converters, 2.7- to 6-GHz tunable converters, and 3.2- to 4.2-GHz block converters.
