L-3 Communications to support Patriot program

Under a subcontract granted by Lockheed Martin, L-3 Communications Coleman Aerospace will provide two target launch vehicles as well as mission management services in support of the Patriot program. The award is made under the Targets and Countermeasures Prime contract, which is managed by the Missile Defense Agency Targets and Countermeasures Directorate and is performed by Lockheed Martin. The subcontract runs over a 17-month period, which began in January 2006. L-3 Coleman Aerospace will design, manufacture, and integrate the launch vehicles at its facility in Orlando, FL. www.colemanaerospace.com.
