Motorized pull tester available in two models

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 4/1/2006

The WTTM wire terminal pull tester, a member of Electromatic's Checkline instrument family, quickly and accurately measures the pull or pull-off force of most soldered and solderless wire terminals, crimped connectors, and similar wire terminations. Just select one of seven pull speeds from 1 in./min to 10 in./min, load the wire, and close the protective cover. The WTTM runs the test automatically, displaying the results in either peak-hold or continuous-measurement modes in user-selected values of lbs, kg, or Newtons. The tester comes in two models. The WTTM-110 has a measuring range of up to 110 lbs (50 kg/500 N) and accepts wire sizes of AWG 12 to 28. The WTTM-220 has a measuring range of 220 lbs (100 kg/1000 N) and accepts wire sizes of AWG 8 to 28. Both models operate from 85 VAC to 265 VAC.
