DAQ hardware includes tachometer channel

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 6/1/2006

Prosig has introduced the P8004 portable data-acquisition hardware that offers four analog channels and one dedicated tachometer channel. Based on the company's higher channel-count 8012, 8020, and 8048 systems, the P8004 delivers up to 24-bit resolution at up to 400 ksamples/s. Prosig says the systems are most commonly used for vibration and acoustic analysis in automotive applications such as noise, vibration, and harshness testing (NVH), ride and handling, chassis dynamics, fatigue testing, and comfort and standards compliance.
