AR Worldwide RF/Microwave names new CEO

Donald Shepherd, founder and president of AR Worldwide RF/Microwave Instrumentation, announced the appointment of Jim Maginn to CEO. Maginn, who assumed the CEO position as of May 8, 2006, is a 14-year veteran of AR Worldwide and is the first CEO to succeed Shepherd, who founded the company over 30 years ago. Shepherd also announced a series of organizational changes and promotions.
Bohdan Haluszczak has moved from microelectronics manager to VP of manufacturing. In his new position, Haluszczak assumes responsibility for all manufacturing functions.
Bill Martin, who has been assistant controller at the company since 1999, has been promoted to controller.
Harry Parke, a veteran of AR since 1997, has been promoted from corporate controller VP to CFO. Parke will oversee finances at the corporate level of AR Worldwide.
Richard Rogers, VP of marketing, will retire in late June after 13 years with AR. Ken Shepherd, VP of sales will become VP of both sales and marketing upon Rogers' retirement.
