Deadline nears for Engineer of the Year nominations; winner to control $30,000 grant

Test & Measurement World has announced a July 7 nomination deadline for its 4th annual "Test Engineer of the Year" award. Test engineers or design engineers with some test-and-measurement responsibilities are eligible. The winner may designate an engineering education program to receive a $30,000 grant, courtesy of program sponsors Agilent Technologies, Keithley Instruments, and National Instruments.

The deadline for nominations has been extended until July 15.
Anyone may make a nomination; there is no nominating fee. The successful candidate will have demonstrated technical competence in tackling tough measurement tasks, industry participation (at conferences or within technical organizations), community service, or a combination of these and other factors.

• If available, the name, street address, phone number, and e-mail address of a press-relations contact at the nominee’s organization; and
• A brief description (250-word maximum) of why your nominee deserves to be named Test Engineer of the Year.
