Release 7.0 of GAGEpackEZ, PQ Systems’ gage calibration software, offers a visual catalog system that replaces numerical lists of gage inventories with photos of gages and calibration equipment to help identify each device and reduce errors in gage records.
GAGEpackEZ manages complete histories of measurement devices, instruments, and gages, while allowing the user to create, sort, and update individual or groups of gage records. The program manages a list of parts, and each gage can be associated with any number of such parts. Information is displayed from a tab on the gage edit form, providing quick access to gage information.
Enhanced email capabilities include email icons that let the user send messages on command to other users, listing gages that are past due or almost due for calibration. Other new features found in Release 7.0 include calendar filters to control which gages and due dates are displayed; the ability to select multiple gages from the list; customized options like gage list colors; and custom queries.
GAGEpackEZ helps organizations conform to ISO 9000 section 4.11, ISO 9001, TX 16493, QS-9000, and other critical calibration standards, creating accurate and effective reports at the click of a mouse.
