Matrox Imaging has announced new configurations of its Solios frame-grabber family. The Matrox Solios XCL-B and Matrox Solios XCL-F support a single base or a single full Camera Link camera, respectively. Both models are also available for PCI Express. In addition, the XCL-F features an optional, customizable processing core based on the Altera Stratix FPGA family to accelerate specific routines in an application. The Altera Stratix devices are available with or without memory (SDRAM or SRAM). Matrox Imaging, www.matrox.com.
