NI’s new PXI-1033 chassis offers PCI Express support in the form of an integrated MXI-Express remote controller. The chassis offers five peripheral slots and includes a host card to control the system via a cable from either a PCI Express-equipped desktop computer or an ExpressCard-equipped laptop computer. With the MXI-Express controller, you can achieve up to 110 Mbytes/s sustained throughput to the host PC. The chassis integrates with NI’s Lab-View, LabWindows/CVI, SignalExpress, and NI TestStand software. National Instruments, www.ni.com.
