Serialization support
By Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 10/1/2006
BPM Microsystems has announced it has added support for device serialization using FX4 and FX2 socket modules. This serialization feature was integrated with the release of BPWin 4.62 to accommodate what the company calls the increased demand for enhanced 7th generation device-programming technology. Previous versions of software allowed for device serialization using only single-socket modules.
All algorithms added to future BPWin software releases will support this new feature, although customers seeking FX4 and FX2 device-serialization support for algorithms released prior to BPWin 4.62 will need to enter a device request through BPM’s Web site. All 7th generation customers with a current software support contract can download the latest software version.
