SONET/SDH modules

EXFO has added optical transport network (OTN) testing to its IQS/FTB-8120 and IQS/FTB-8130 Transport Blazer SONET/SDH test modules. The IQS/FTB-8120 (2.5 Gbps) and IQS/FTB-8130 (10 Gbps) combine SONET/SDH, next-generation SONET/SDH, and now OTN testing, as defined in ITU-T G.709, in a common platform to help streamline customers’ testing needs.
The OTN software option runs on the IQS-500 Intelligent Test System for manufacturing and R&D test applications. It can also be used with the company’s FTB-200 Compact Platform and the advanced FTB-400 Universal Test System. EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering, www.exfo.com.
