Munich-based Rohde & Schwarz has received high recognition for its employment qualities in the 2006 surveys of German university graduates and young professionals.
The surveys, conducted by the Trendence HR marketing agency and Access AG, rated R&S second by young communications engineers and in the top ten by electrical engineers. The 2006 annual employee survey carried out by German business magazine Capital also revealed that R&S is one of Germany’s top three employers among all big companies. Those surveyed associate R&S primarily with engaging work, but also with a highly interesting product portfolio, outstanding innovative strength, and international job prospects.
Dr. Hubert Amend, Head of Corporate HR with R&S, says German employers have a high demand for young engineers because of their excellent technical knowledge and initiative. He also says, "The result shows we are pursuing the right HR policy. We not only capture the technical interest of young candidates, but also provide open organizational structures with the freedom needed by creative minds."
The Trendence Institute for Personnel Marketing in Berlin and Access AG in Cologne conduct surveys among German university graduates and young professionals to obtain information on their preferred employers. Renowned in HR marketing, the two organizations survey randomly-selected electrical and communications engineers.
