CompactPCI CPU

By Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 12/1/2006

The eAutomation Group of Advantech has introduced the MIC-3321 series of single- and double-layer 3U Compact-PCI CPU cards. Because the MIC-3321 is designed for use in critical military and test and measurement applications, the CPU and memory are direct-soldered to the card; this enables it to withstand greater vibration and shock than other socket devices. Features include a built-in Intel Pentium M 760 2.0G processor with a 2-Mbyte L2 cache and a Mobile Intel 915GM express chipset. Also included are a RS-232 port, two USB ports, two LAN ports, and a VGA port. Advantech, www.eautomationpro.com/us.
