Power distribution unit accommodates three-phase input
-- Test & Measurement World, 1/3/2007 10:05:00 AM
Offered in both North American and European configurations, Pulizzi's PC3365 rack-mount power distribution unit offers a high-power three-phase input that allows an entire rack of equipment to be powered from a single power cord input. This approach reduces cabling costs and cable clutter when compared to mounting multiple power strips in an electronic cabinet enclosure.
The North American version accepts three-phase 120/208-V, 30-A input via a NEMA L21-30P plug. Power output is at 120 V and distributed through 24 IEC C13 computer-style receptacles, providing 8,640 VA of power. The European version accepts three-phase 230/400-V, 20-A input via an IEC 60309 plug. Power output is at 230 V and distributed through 24 IEC C13 computer-style receptacles, providing 11,040 VA of power.
Housed in a rugged steel enclosure, the 19-in. rack-mount unit is just 2U (3.5 in.) tall. The front panel of the North American version features indicator lights and circuit breakers. Built-in electrical noise filtering is standard and protects against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.
