Joining the JenColour line of OEM color sensor modules from MAZeT are two devices that can be used for general color measurement and light detection, consumer appliances, portable color detectors/readers, RGB LCD backlight monitors, and RGB power LED regulation.
The MTCS-TIAM1 color sensor board with optical shutter is based on the MTCSiCS true-color sensor IC and also integrates a programmable transimpedance amplifier using compact chip-on-board technology. In addition, the board can be configured with two optional white-light LEDs for illumination. The board's optical channel (receiver and LEDs) is provided with a mechanical aperture to comply with the 10° measuring geometry requirements of DIN5033. The MTCS-TIAM1's integrated components and construction form a complete sensor head for direct installation in measurement and control equipment. Package dimensions including the shutter are just 19.5x9.0x5.0 mm.
The MTCS-TIAM2 also employs the MTCSiCS true-color sensor and signal amplifier, housed in a plastic package with or without a shutter. Package dimensions are 6.5x6.0x5.0 mm with a shutter and 6.5x1.5x5.0 mm without a shutter.
