RFI Global launches online compliance data reports

Designed by its team of regulatory experts, RFI Global Services now offers the first in a range of online worldwide product compliance data reports. These PDF reports contain up-to-date information about the regulatory compliance requirements of various countries around the world for 2.4 GHz short-range wireless technologies, including Bluetooth products.
The reports advise on every aspect of market entry requirements and include information on spectrum availability for each power output, licensing requirements, approval requirements, radio and EMC standards, requirements for human exposure and specific absorption rate (SAR), import restrictions and limitations, and regulator contact details.
Currently, there are three reports available covering the following regions: EU countries, US and Canada, and Asia (Japan, China, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam). Future compliance reports will include short-range devices (866 MHz, etc.), RFID, and WLAN (802.11a/b/g).
Reports cost £225 each or £575 (approximately $439 and $1122, respectively) for all three, plus VAT, and can be downloaded at www.rfi-global.com/shop/home.asp. They are also available on CD.
