The eight models in the FireDragon line of progressive-scan cameras employ FireWire-B (IEEE-1394.b) technology to provide transfer rates of 800 Mbps. Some models deliver full-frame images up to 90 frames/s and resolutions ranging from VGA to UXGA. Both monochrome and color versions are available. Monochrome output can be set for 8 or 10 bits, while color output formats include 24-bit RGB, YUV422, and YUV411. Toshiba Teli America, www.toshiba-teli.com
