Integrating sphere

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 2/1/2007

Gigahertz-Optik’s UPB-150-ART integrating sphere is designed for multipurpose single- or double-beam reflectance and transmittance measurements in both ±8° and 0° geometries. The five precision CNC-machined application ports offer a symmetrical knife-edge design to guarantee optimum light input.

The sphere is coated with ODP97, a white diffuse paint that exhibits a typical reflectance of 97% in the visible spectral range with a usable range specified from 300 nm to 2400 nm. Standardized port interfaces allow simple mounting of Gigahertz-Optik detector heads, fiber-optic adapters, light sources, light traps, and other accessories.

You can use the UPB-150-ART sphere to perform standard reflection and transmission measurements in accordance with the DIN-5036, CIE 128, and ISO 13468 specifications.
