After a detailed one-year competitive evaluation, PSA Peugeot Citroen has chosen nCode International's ICE-flow GlyphWorks 4.0 software as its test data processing platform dedicated to reliability and fatigue analysis. The GlyphWorks 4.0 installation at Peugeot is one of the largest installations of Glyphworks worldwide.
GlyphWorks 4.0 enables engineers to interactively build and run analytical processes on mega multichannel datasets. The software environment provides a wide range of data processing and visualization capabilities with specialized options ranging from fatigue analysis and accelerated testing to frequency domain tools, such as octave analysis and rotating machinery analysis.
GlyphWorks replaces PSA Peugeot Citroen’s custom software and will be used at four different sites for overall vehicle durability, fatigue, and vibration analysis.“nCode’s software provides PSA Peugeot Citroen with an easy-to-use standard solution powerful enough to process and manage over 800 Gbytes of data from different sources such as proving grounds, customer monitoring sites, and laboratory test rigs. We expect to realize significant productivity gains from accelerated testing, thus lowering our costs, as well as faster processing speed by being able to upload test data into an ASAM ODS database,” said Jacques Mercier, responsible for the Customer Usage Synthesis Department.
