Mixed-signal scope has 32 logic channels

-- Test & Measurement World, 3/6/2007 6:44:00 AM

Yokogawa's DL9710L mixed-signal oscilloscope adds 32 digital inputs to an analog scope that's based on the DL7400 series. The DL9710L samples analog channels at 5 Gsamples/s with 1-GHz bandwidth and samples all 32 logic channels at 250 Msamples/s. All channels, analog or digital, can store 6.25 Msamples of data.

To use the digital channels, connect a logic pod to the DL9710L's rear panel. You can then group the logic channels into 8-bit or 16-bit groups and use the instrument’s display to view them individually or in groups with binary or hexadecimal values. The logic pod also features a ground connection for each channel, or you can use a common ground.

Base price: $23,495. Yokogawa, www.yokogawa.com/tm/dl/dl9710l/tm-dl9710l_01.htm.
