Useful for a variety of laboratory imaging, machine vision, and microscopy applications, Toshiba’s IK-TU51 remote-head color camera system provides digital output and a choice of 1/3-in. and 1/2-in. image sensors. In addition to interchangeable heads, the IK-TU51 delivers up to 800 lines of resolution.
The camera system provides real-time imaging with 10-bit digital signal processing and a 64-dB signal-to-noise ratio. Frame memory allows continuous video imaging in integration mode. The imager also offers a freeze-frame function and a user-selectable one-pulse or two-pulse triggering mechanism. Sensitivity for the 1/2-in. and 1/3-in. imagers at a 4-s exposure time is rated at 0.02 lux and 0.04 lux, respectively. The system also boasts a 14-step detail enhancement capability and a six-vector color enhancement circuit. The imager is available with an RS-232C interface, both LVDS digital and RGB analog outputs, and a standard C-mount lens flange.
