With measuring devices already built in, the 620L automated line leakage tester from Associated Research performs eight of the most commonly required line leakage tests. When configured with the optional Run Test feature, the 620L can also monitor minimum and maximum readings for voltage, current, watts, power factor, and leakage current.
You can use the instrument in stand-alone applications or as part of a test system when interconnected to any AR hipot or ground bond tester. The tester can also be used with the AC1000 power source to provide clean power to the DUT and allow for full adjustment of the DUT input voltage. For automated control of line leakage test points, the 620L can be combined with the SC6540 modular scanning matrix.
The 620L includes a graphic LCD and intuitive menu system to simplify the testing process. Leakage current readings can be monitored using both peak and RMS measurements. Communication interfaces, including RS-232, GPIB and Ethernet, allow automated control of the instrument. You can also store up to 50 setups, consisting of 30 steps per setup, and recall them in any alphanumeric combination.
